I'm Belén Ibáñez, a versatile UX Engineer with a relentless pursuit of excellence in creating impactful designs. With a background in graphic design, I understand the profound influence of color, typography, and cohesive systems.
Motivated by problem-solving and driving meaningful change, I transitioned to UX engineering, bridging the gap between design and engineering. I possess a unique skill set that seamlessly integrates aesthetics, functionality, and efficiency. By utilizing my coding expertise, I bring design concepts to life, prioritizing user needs and crafting immersive experiences. With a holistic approach, I consider the broader context of design and engineering, aligning solutions with business objectives and user expectations.
Together, let's reshape the digital landscape with human-centric design and robust engineering, creating transformative experiences that empower and delight users.
Focusing on the problem rather than solutions. Thinking more of the why rather than the what. Ideating real personas with real goals and scenarios.
Define a user flow or a journey map of the life process this will help us to materiliase time and estimations for actions required.
The point when we are starting to materialise our solution. From basic wireframes to interactive prototypes
Design the interface with consistency, align it to our design system to have a unique language.
Developing client side solutions and systems. Being able to build what we came up with.
This is my mantra. For every single step mentioned: iterate, gather feedback from users.
We do not build stuff for ourselves.
Silico is a Business Process Simulation platform that connects to process mining insights and allows optimise and provide simulations to businesses. As a UX Engineer I work closely with the product and development team providing solutions to stakeholers and clients. Here are just some of the works:
Dashboards are a Section within silico that can provide data visualisation of the simulations.
Consoles were a way for non data-analyst to interact, and display different scenarios and segments.
Sync is an area within Silico where users can integrate and generate sets of data to our platform.
A project from Band of Coders for PSA-Peugeot that consisted in an app where users were able to customise their cars and receive it at home
A project from Band of Coders for Highland Capital Brokerage. The project Easy Life consisted in a B2B/B2C platform that quoted from different carriers different types of insurance.
